No thread on this? The critics have destroyed it. I just caught it today, if you take it for what it is, your going to enjoy it. Its never winning any oscars, its got elements of gross out comedy, buddy movies and it doesnt take itself seriously. Theres even running jokes in it where the minor characters keep reminding Mitch and the crew they are lifeguards, nothing more. Best bits are the banter between the Rock and Efron. Some of it is up there with Will Smith and Martin Laurence in Bad Boys. A little running joke that the Rock never addresses Efron by his name but calls him something, off the top of my head was One Direction, Bieber, Hawaian Ken and High School musical. Plenty of beautiful people running around, lots of dick and boob jokes, and some light hearted fun. A couple of cameos from the hoff and Pamela Anderson as well including her shaking her hair in super slow mo. Its not the best but it was some light hearted fun that me&the wife enjoyed today on a bank holiday.
