Yeah, pretty harshly. Lots of thinly veiled references to subhumans, degraded bloodlines, etc etc. He was a shit human being. Doesn't make the stories and mythos any less awesome. I mean, Edgar Rice Burroughs was horrible about that stuff as well, but the Tarzan and John Carter series are still phenomenal works.
Fuck Cthulhu. Dumbass doesn't even do anything other than being worshiped. Know what god is better? Chaos, Greek god of the void. The void is the kind of thing people could form a whole assassin's guild around. Chaos would kick Cthulhu's ass. Well, it would more envelop his ass. That's what voids do, they envelop things and make them no longer exists. You can tell Chtulhu I said this too. I'd tell him my self except no one knows where to find him because he hides like a coward. Ooh, an overgrown mind flayer. SOOO scary. Hail Sithis! I mean, Chaos!
For those interested, Lovecraft Country starts next week on HBO. I'm planning on watching because Perry Mason ends this weekend.
