OK. For reasons that are a whole other thread in and of itself, I am without my cell phone. :garamet: I do, however, still have my old Cingular phone and I know it is compatible with TMobile. So I have two related questions:

How do I set it up so I can put it on the TMobile network? (When I broached the subject at the store they of course just wanted to sell me another phone.) The next question is, will doing this take the numbers off the SIM card? Because then it defeats the purpose. (Especially since my phone is supposed to be in the mail after having it fall out of my pocket while I was laying down on my bed in a horrible, horrible hotel whose name rhymes with "Trouble-free" (ironically). It was allegedly mailed to Hawaii a week ago. :garamet: )

But I digress. How do I go about putting my old Cingular phone on the Tmobile network?
