On what day in December does Donald Trump get indicted?

I say 15th.

I'm not sure he will. I imagine that if he doesn't finish out his term it will be because he pardons himself and his family and resigns.

It's not looking good for Kushner if the reports out today are accurate.

I agree Trump will pardon himself. I have my doubts on whether he'll have the sense to resign.

I'm only seeing resignation if he convinces himself he's saving face in some way. Which really means if he could go to prison. He doesn't want this job though.

I am pretty sure even Donald trump will be able to shield himself from jail time despite his stupidity. I figure even he knows when to cut and run for the hills, or at least will figure it out before it is too late to be given a chance to. Republicans are always going to be better off if he resigns over being convicted and disgracing the entire party worse than he will have at that point. Their followers will pretty much forgive any transgression aside from working with Barack Obama and the dems.

The word grant typically means you're giving something to someone else. It's a mercy thing basically. I'm taking mercy on you by commuting your sentence of giving you a pardon.

Than you have the principle that you can't be the prosecutor, judge, and jury on your own case. A self pardon would be that.

A pardon also would be an admission that he committed a crime. So if he didn't immediately resign he'd for sure be impeached.

Last I think if Trump (or any POTUS) did pardon himself than SCOTUS would jump in and void it on the basis of the first two things I wrote. And no one would complain except of course POTUS.

And he's not resigning any time soon.
