Open Season on FF!

Yes, this weekend marked open season on fantasy football, for those of us who play. A truly wonderful time!

One can glean all sorts of wisdom from podcasts and YouTube videos.

One can load up on Subway sandwiches.

One can stay hydrated by carrying as much water as one needs.

And one can assemble a team of players and hope for a win, while condemning your opponents for inconsistent or nonsensical reasons.

I don’t bet on sports, but if I did it would only be on the “over”. Once the over is covered iy can’t be taken away. Beating on point spreads leads to jumping off high places without a parachute ; brood:

I've drafted Ronaldo as quarterback for the Kolkata Sundarbans.
I expect him to be sacked by the Darjeeling Tealeaves shortstop, Picabo Street.

Sometimes a lame and predictable experience is better than a heartbreaking and surprising turn with the stupidity sometimes involved with FF.

The stupidity is lame and predictable, not surprising at all let alone heartbreaking.

Went heavy on Garrett Wilson this year
