Um, really ? He had to take Sylar's ability so he could have the ability he already has ? I know he has to learn to fix things! Ok, really ? Why ? I thought he had to stop the formula from getting out? Not going around learning to fix things by cutting people's heads open.
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? Mohinder told him he had to find Sylar, but Peter screwed it up as usual. Nathan must be getting tired of his brother killing him. He should send Tracy to freeze Peter's tiny little nuts off. Speaking of Tracy, Nathan had better be careful next time he gets a hand job. She'll have to go nice and slow. Methinks the new man of God is gonna like it. In lieu of giving someone a bj with crushed ice in your mouth....don't knock it till you try it. God, Peter's a dumb ass. And Claire as evil is unbelievably lame. Not as lame as Peter, but lame. I think Peter thought he could fix the timeline if he had Sylar's ability.
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? Yeah, I guess that Sylars ability to see how things work...their interconnections..combined with Peters time jumping powers, now give Peter the ability to see how everything fits together...to see space and time and all the interconnected webs of cause and effect. This way...he steps on less butterflies. (Not that Hiro can't throw a monkey wrench into this a bit.)
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? Peter's going to need a lot more than Sylar's power to fix this. Could he have reacted with any less enthusiasm when his future self told him that Nathan was alive? Peter was kidnapped into Jesse's body immediately after the shooting. He never saw Nathan in the hospital, he even said "I don't know if you're alive" when he tried to warn Nathan on the pay phone. He should have been overjoyed to hear it, but nothing. Maybe it's just Ventimiglia being a so so actor.
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? Sylar's ability is the ability to see cause and effect...how things work. The head opening hunger thing wasn't what Peter "had to have" (assuming we by the idea that he had to have Sylar's ability and didn't just fuck up again) I'm much more interested in knowing why future Claire thinks she Killed Future Peter given that Peter can survive a nuclear explosion, he can probably shake off a couple of bullets.
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? In all tv shows with a continuing story line I've ever seen (and most of those without) there's always some detail the writers forget from previous episodes. I'm sure when the ep was written the writers had forgotten they never showed Peter learning that Nathan was alive. As for explaining it away, you simply assume there was an off-camera moment when HRG told him about it.
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? I guess it was a good thing that I decided not to follow this series any more I guess they got too many folks and too many story lines and it just got too soapy opera-ish for me. And now that the good guys are bad guys ... I am very happy to be off that rollercoaster.
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? I think she said - and they established - that a bullet (or other object) to the brain can kill him. (And Claire & Peter, in the past were both "temporarily" dead until an object was removed from their brains). Also, the Haitian was there, so he would have suppressed any healing powers. Also a clip from a couple of weeks ago showed someone in a flash forward "killing" Clair by decapitating her. So it's not so much, I guess, that she *can't* be killed, it's just difficult - I guess...??? Though why that should stop them - or Sylar now...and Kensi - when they can survive being blown to pieces, I don't know... And if someone every removes that bullet, would dead Peter revive? For how long after could he be brought back?
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? WTF IS UP WITH HIRO? seriously they don't really need him anymore, and bringing Kensei back? really? you teleport him underground, then forget he was there and dig him back up? really? don't get me wrong i think Hiro and Ando rock, but they kinda keep taking themselves out of the story.
Re: Peter HAD to take Sylar's ability ? Really? Seriously? He HAD too ? There were a whole lot of "why don't they just..." moments in that ep!
Re: Parallaxis is a bad poster who doesn't know how to hide spoilers.(Heroes S3 spoil Edited title. Also I hate you.
Re: Parallaxis is a bad poster who doesn't know how to hide spoilers.(Heroes S3 spoil On the bright side the rest of the season should be better because there's no possible way they could make an episode worse than this one.
Re: Parallaxis is a bad poster who doesn't know how to hide spoilers.(Heroes S3 spoil Meh. I'm enjoying it myself, even with the plot holes....it's a comic book, I don't spend too much time trying to figure out the leaps. I just take it as cheesy fun. And better made cheese than that PAINFUL five minutes of "Knight Rider" I watched the other night....
Re: Parallaxis is a bad poster who doesn't know how to hide spoilers.(Heroes S3 spoil ^Was that the 5 min scene of the female field agent walking around texting like a 15 year old girl while tripping over the vommiting computer tech ? And Bailey is a jerk off idiot who just killed this thread.
Re: Parallaxis is a bad poster who doesn't know how to hide spoilers.(Heroes S3 spoil I'll let that pass this once since I did edit your thread title, but any more of that in here and it will be a warning for flaming. How about though in future if you don't want your thread titles editing, you don't use spoiler filled titles hey?
Re: Parallaxis is a bad poster who doesn't know how to hide spoilers.(Heroes S3 spoil I actually thought it was a great episode. I'm betting Peter learned Nathan was alive from the news, given that it would be hard to miss 'Congressman shot, miraculously wakes up' even while he was on the run.
