Okay, my family uses COMCAST on-demand but I never mess with it. That said neither myself or my family has ever watched a pay-per-view event on TV. COMCAST is of course our cable provider.

Anyway rather than make a phone call just to speak to someone with a thick accent I can't understand just to get the general info before I order something I might not be able to figure out how to actually watch, please help me out.

I want to watch UFC 214 and the "main card" is pay-per-view and begins at around 10:00 PM this evening or maybe midnight. Of the course the UFC website tells you the avenues for watching (one of which is pay-per-view on cable with an actual television) but I've never done it before and don't want to shell out money and not be able to figure it out. BTW I will be in gone all day today so I won't be able to get on WordForge until around 7:00 PM or so. If anyone (okay probably everyone in the US except for me) knows the nuts-and-bolts of how to do this, let me know please!

    This.

You'll see the charge on your next cable bill.

I press "buy" on what? On my remote? Seriously, I've never done this.

Okay I went to the UFC site and saw where it says "buy it." But if I buy it will it tel me what channel to go on to see it? That's what I'm afraid of! Paying the money and then trying to figure out what to do.

Well that's cute. UFC.com shows channels for other providers but not for Comcast?

they showed COMCAST when I went to the UFC sight. The thing is until I knew exactly how to view it I wasn't going to buy it. Maybe it would explain the procedure, maybe not. Maybe I would need a COMCAST password, who knows? Thus I didn't buy it. It was getting late anyway, and I was wiped out from 6+ hours on the road with no AC in the Georgia summer. So my old body was sound asleep by the time it started anyway, so It's just as well. No sense crying over spilled milk (or blood in this instance).
