I'll be making a little TV spot for amnesty come April, and because we have a budget of about € 5 which we'll need to buy eggs (an egg plays a major role), I'll have to cut it myself. I'm OK with Premiere, tho not really great. So I might ask some questions here if I may First thing is: how does one create static noise? We have decided to go for a very rough look to cover the typical video look, and I'd like to get some static noise in there. Is there some plugin/transition that can do this? Or is it better to just record some and splice it in?
But not too close, or you'll get an annoying buzzing noise because of the electric signals or something. It's better to record an AM station filled with static on a combo radio/cassette player, and transfer the cassette audio somehow...
Cass do you already know how to do the video portion of the static snow? As far as the audio prolly best to just record the real thing. There is a filter in premiere for the visual part if you want that too.
^ Ah, it's built in. Thanks! I only have an ancient version and couldn't find it. And yes, I'll have to record the audio part. I only need a few tenths of a second anyway.
