I've finally got around to attempting to print some photos at home, and things aren't going quite according to plan. I was wondering if anyone had experienced similar problems. Basically, what's happening is the printer is cutting off part of the picture and just leaving white space instead. Sometimes, as below, the print preview is screwed up, giving an indication of what's going to happen. Sometimes the print preview looks fine, but it still comes out screwed up. Regardless of what I do, I seem to wind up losing the right 3/4" of the photo, which is simply left white. The photos are (mainly) high resolution, but are all otherwise the correct size settings. It's driving me crazy!
Are you printing onto photo-sized paper, or 8.5x11? If it's the former, you need to look in your printer options for Edgeless Printing. If it's the latter, you might check to make sure that when you print a photo, it isn't trying to use a photo-sized paper.
I'm printing on to 6/4" paper. I've set everything I can find to 6/4" borderless photopaper. The only thing I can think of is that I'm using Dell paper, not HP.
