I've heard unofficial word that my team isn't going to be going back into the office even when Covid is over, so I'm going to be remote in perpetuity. The wife and I have responsibilities in mid TN and have been on the road at least once every other month, so now we're going to just build a house and move. I'll be trading ignorant, blue collar Gaston County, NC (I seen a lot of tomorrow children. That's when whites and n****rs have babies. Fuckin' NAFTA.), for ignorant, hyper rural Rutherford County, TN (That feller was the wisest, most fatherly feller I ever knew...for a n****r). I'm stoked! :yes2:

Sorry. That sounded a lot less inflammatory in my mind last night while I was drinking heavily. It'll be a good move overall, but I was just ruminating about how I'm trading being surrounded by racists for being surrounded by racists.

Grab some wood there, bub. We might not have a state by then. This was posted in a local FB group.

Apparently, they didn’t hear about what happened in California, so I expect us to be engulfed in flames.

indeed! Four years ago (and maybe since then too) Tenn/Georgia had some terrible fires - I was on a trip there right about when they started. The day my wife & myself left to head back to Augusta we saw some smoke and I was hoping it wouldn't spread too far in the dry fall conditions...but sadly it escalated quickly.

I'm guessing this is parodying commentary heard in those places...

Anyhoo, good luck in your new digs!

And on the subject of gender reveal parties: how can you have one? If gender is about identity, and the fetus has not yet expressed one, how can you know what the gender is? Please don't mis-gender the baby! :diacanu: But I guess a "sex reveal party" sounds like a whole different thing...

And you chose to express that by making a racist post? Curious . . . :chris:
