Hello. Recently, I tried to post a pic of Hayden Panetierre in Media Central. I go -> Manage Attachments, then Upload File, then I find the file on my hard drive, then I hit Upload. Once that is done, I post my topic and... No picture. When I look in the gallery, I have no images hosted, yet when I uploaded the pic of her, it said I had used about 3 megs worth of space. (The pic in question is only 16kb.) I am assuming the other 3 megs are pics I've already uploaded somewhere. Where are these pictures, and why can't I see them? Do I have 3 megs worth of pictures in limbo somewhere? Where can I access this purgatory of corp~ pics?
Yes, you have no pictures in the Gallery at all. The Hayden picture was never uploaded. The rest of the space is being used by four attachments. You can manage them these this way: Click "User Links" at the top of the page. Click "Edit Options" in the menu. The far left you will see the column entitled "Control Panel". At the bottom of the list is "Attachments" Click "Attachments". You should see a page listing all the attachments you have posted and where they are along with options to "show thumbnails" or delete them.
Cool. Thanks. One more question: Is there a limit for the amount of stuff we can upload into the gallery? Maybe I am over my limit and that is the reason why it won't upload?
I'm not sure. But if there is it must be pretty high, the poster with the most attachments has a combined total of 35.07MB so that can't be the reason. Maybe there is a glitch? I think I am really at the limit of what I can do at this point and a Tech guy is going to have to take it from here. Sorry!
Which poster is that? I went into my attachments, and the bar indicates a limit of 3-ish MB for all attachments, which is obviously wrong.
There never used to be a limit for uploads. Did this change when we got the weird "Quick Upload" thing?
