You thought you saw a chance to take a jab at a "leftist" and went for it, not thinking about who it was or what they'd said. Then, when I called you on it, you immediately backpedaled (without having bothered to do any research on the subject) because you realized you were talking out of your ass. You wanted a cheap shot, and when you realized you couldn't get it, you retreated.
