Dont get me wrong, I truly have NO HATRED towards the Japanese in any way, shape, form, or fashion. I have always admired how they have managed to rise from the ashes of a war torn nation, to one of the strongest economic powers on earth. I've always enjoyed practically everything that they produce, from PS3 to Hentai Anime.. but, at the same time, I really don't think I'd enjoy it much being in a place where I am not wanted.

Japan seems to be a really scary place to live today. I heard so many stories about how culturally strict their laws are, and how unforgiving they are with those who break them. At first I used to think that they only disliked our servicemen, but over the years I have heard stories about how they've grown so hostile towards foreigners, that even Asian Americans have gone there and got rattled!

I will admit openly that they do have some very beautiful women, but from fear of their govt, I wouldn't dare go anywhere near them.

Someone told me once that the only people allowed to visit Japanese prostitutes are Japanese men. Its supposed to be Illegal for anyone else (Chinese, Vietnamese. and especially Americans) to go anywhere near them.

Japanese society is very racist. While they have a love/hate relationship with the West, they still view themselves as superior to everyone else, especially the Chinese and Koreans.

Korea also has sex clubs (live sex shows where audience participation is encouraged - funny story I'll share later) that they don't want Americans/foreigners going to. But if you know the right people and have the right connections and keep your shit together, hilarity ensues.

Some places in Japan have (or tried this anyway) separate subway cars for men and women because the women get groped all the time.

Koreans are the same way. On my second tour, some off duty MP's got assaulted because one of the MP's playfully grabbed his own wife's butt. See the MP was white, his wife Korean. Some Koreans on the subway went ape-shit crazy and attacked them.

Oldfella is right. I remember there was an article linked on this very forum about six months ago or so about a woman that was raped right on the subway in the middle of rush hour and no one moved to do shit.

I doubt I'll be grouped if I visited Japan. They seemed to think black folks will bust a cap in their asses if they so much as look at them the wrong way. I plan to play that up as much as possible.

ETA: I once linked a couple of articles back three years ago when I first joined about kids even younger than that having sex, which was in part due to the amount of time kids spend from their parents between school activities, being able to go home alone via the subways, and parents spending lots of hours at work. A lot of strip clubs/brothels have signs up saying that only Japanese may enter, but that's not due to any kind of law, but rather the preference of the establishment. Regardless, some joints will actually let anyone in, and some joints will only let non-Japanese in if they have a Japanese person with them in their party.
