I have no idea where this stuff has been coming from. I hear these parts of songs in my head and then have to figure out how the rest of it goes. It's especially weird since I don't really have an outlet for anything like this, as I'm not in a band and really have no interest whatsoever in doing that. So I'm going to put it here. First, a good old sloppy hard rocker, think Stooges or maybe Black Flag or something. That's really from last summer. This one came to me in the past week. It's a pretty straightforward blues song. You'll probably even be able to figure out the sound of it just by the pattern of the words. Note: the extreme patheticalness of the narrator is intentional, and more than a little bit tongue-in-cheek. Here's a nice slow sad countryish tune. Strum along at home! chorus/verse (5x) (C) - - - | (C) - - - | (G7) - - - | (C) - - - | (C) - - - | (Am) - - - | (G7) - - - | (C) - - - bridge (2x): (F) - - - | (F) - - - | (C) - - - | (C) - - - | (Dm) - - - | (Dm) - - - | (G7) - - - | (G7) - - - That's not really the final version yet. You can pretty much go on and on with the "gone forever" thing. I just have to figure out how much more I want and narrow it down from my idea list. Probably one more 3-stanza verse.
