Nice song, but no. Thios song I could easily learn and sing without too much effort. The general tempo does not change and the rhyming scheme is a little easier. You need to know how to breathe properly to get the ending on Yakko's world, and also to do it in character voice is even harder. I will give it that it is somewhat more descriptive of the countries, and more modern, but just not nearly as difficult all around as Yakko's world.
Don't get me wrong, it is a good song, creative, and educational. However, I actually can do a pretty good Yakko's world and the ending is really tough to get down from a technical standpoint of being able to properly breathe and sing it. It is not just the saying of the wqords at a rapid tempo, but you do need some experience in breathing while singing, and some lung capacity to push the end out without losing breath or having to stop to breathe in. It is not the most technical thing in the universe, but it is hard to do. Also, these guys are singing in their normal comfortable voice. To sing in character might have been harder for the VA, bvut it is harder for a person who has to imitate the voice. It is not a matter of thinking it out, but rather a matter of actually being able to do it. Yes, I have the entire first animaniacs album memorized, and it is a fun thing to sing along to.
To answer the thread title, no I don’t remember that Animaniacs song, but I was just beginning to smoke weed at the time and I have fuzzy memories of the mid-late 90s.
I was pretty much a sober straight edge at the time and I really thought I was in high school when the animaniacs came out. i guess I had not fully escaped high school yet, but 93 would have put me in college. Not that I would not have been watching cartoons in college as I was a huge fan, but I thought they started earlier. Oh well, I had a lot of things going on then and I am not surprised I have it all fucked up in my head. I don't think sobriety helped keep all of that safe.
