Rep Smilie Question/Request

1. Is it possible to look up usage of rep smilies?

2. Could we replace one of the lesser used and/or redundant rep smilies with an anger one?

I figure Teh Baba could go. Either that one or Dumb, since they’re both expressing similar ideas.

teh baba is NOT the same thing as dumb. That's like ballet and stumbling. Yes, both are inefficient manners of crossing a room, but only one is art.

If we have to get rid of one, I'd say lose Fantasy World. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the least-used among the rep smilies.

I actually kinda like the entire set we have now. I *do* like the idea of an "angry" rep emoji, but must we lose an existing one to get it?

I feel like dumb and disagree are about the same.

I think we have a good balance right now. Each one conveys a different emotion or reaction.

Yes, some of them are similar, but they are distinguishable enough. There are posts I simply disagree with, whereas there are posts which are too dumb for words.

Personally, I think we should get rid of the Agree option.

I agree that we need a one. It seems more useful than go fuck yourself, fantasy world, tldr, dumb, baba, or facepalm to me.

I still think we need a next to the option. But I also wouldn't want it to replace another rep.

In all honesty, it may be time for a rep revamp. That being said, technically, there is no limit to how many rep icons you can have (well, as long as it fits on a single line). Ever since I set it up, I was hoping to keep it under 15, because after that it gets kind of messy, looks cluttered, and such, but you can have 20, or even 30, though I wouldn't recommend that one. Just something to consider.

Would it be realistic to replace the "Dumb" rep with this?

It would slow down page loads, and use up server bandwidth with how many times it would have to be loaded, and that's if it was shrunk down to fit in the rep bar, of which I have no doubt would happen.

I'd be willing to pay top dollar to defray costs.

Seriously, I see no reason why we shouldn't just have two or three more rep icons. Removing old ones also has the drawback that it changes the reps that appear on old posts -- they clearly work by some kind of numbering system, and when we changed the rep tableau in the past, old threads became very strange, as reactions to posts shifted from disagreement to gratitude and from boredom to babaness.
