While I can still post on my phone, on desktops and laptops (Win 7, 8 and 10 respectively, Chrome) the reply window underneath each thread has disappeared.

@John, admit what you did right now and things will go a lot easier for you.

Try closing the page, then hit Shift+Ctrl+T.

Checks out on this end, @Packard. I'd recommend trying ed's advice. If that doesn't work for some reason, we'll figure it out.

I'm currently using Google Chrome, have Ashlands as my theme, and I'm posting with your permission set (your Wordforge profile defaults), @Packard, and this is what I see. I even posted this using all of the above, and there's no problem here. Are you sure there's not something like an adblocker on your end preventing the fast reply window?

It was the closest we could get to figuring a work around for banning you. The phone issue totally slipped our mind. Damn!

I am sure I haven't installed any ad blocker deliberately, much less across several devices. Nor is any unknown extention listed. Huh. Any other changes that happened at some point during the last ten or so hours?

I wonder if this has any connection to the problems LizK and Forbin have experienced.

There have been no changes recently, at least not over the past month or so, and the server log shows no errors for any user. I ran a software health check, and it all looks good. I'm not certain what could be causing your anomaly.

@Packard: have you tried from a different computer and different network? It seems likely that it isn't anything to do with you as a user (despite our best efforts). And there's nothing obvious going on this end. It might be worth trying to sub in different configurations on your side of the pond.

I use Chrome on Win7 at work; I can try to duplicate tomorrow.

It's not enough to deny El Chup and Dayton the abuse of the Report Post function, but now poor innocent Packard can't even make replies without using his phone? A travesty of justice.

Sometime within the last 30 minutes, the window came back. This is very strange. Thanks to everyone for their efforts; if it happens again, I will say so... if I can. :calli:
