Tamar, you need to explain why you thought that call-out thread was a good idea.

There has never been any rule against referencing in vague terms something in the Blue Room that isn't private. Even summing up PMs has been allowed..and in Sokar's case sharing Ward's information was no big deal. There was nothing private in that remark whatsoever. Apostle wanted to take a shot at me and Nova where he thought he could get away with it. If he was referencing something private..and I can't imagine what that would be...why was he dragging Nova's business into Chaos' thread? Shouldn't it stay in Nova's thread?

I wasn't going to hijack Chaos' thread with that nonsense, it's too important and serious. PMing Apostle is useless, I know from experience. Since nothing that hasn't been said in the Red Room already was being referred to, I figured it wouldn't matter as long as it wasn't a direct quote.

If you want to punish me for it, feel free to.

I don't understand what the thread was supposed to achieve, it couldn't have been to shame apostle, because it would never work. Which pretty much just leaves relieving anger, which is understandable, but has caused a lot of problems.

On that note, this isn't the first time I've seen apostle shit up people's Blue Room threads. Perhaps the better course of action might be to remove his access.

Dammit. I am just pissed that this blew up the way it did. I am sorely tempted to de-admin you just to avoid the appearance of Eliteforge. But I also need you as an admin. Grrr . . .

Chaos is no longer mad at me and in fact apologized to me for his angry rep comment. And the fact of the matter is that I did not reveal anything private, regardless of the bullshit spin Apostle is trying to put on it and consequences have often been based on the level of privacy violated. Even Nova said there was nothing private revealed there.

Oh...and why does linking to a Blue Room thread matter?

It's not like anyone can see it unless they are a member of the Blue Room already.
