    The scholarly consensus is that Jesus was a real historical figure (minus the supernatural embellishments).

    Anyway, wasn't this thread supposed to aggregate instances of hate and bigotry? Does vague theism in schools constitute that?

    I don't agree with any of this, but I also don't see the big deal. Kinda like ya'll's attitudes towards the woke shit. :shrug:

    Yeah, Republicans may be a bunch of Nazis, and they want to hurt my LGBT friends, and black friends, and Latin friends, and my female family members and friends, and would burn most of my books and movies if they could, but...

    If you tax billionaires too high, it makes them sad.
    And that makes me sad, because I fantasize about being a billionaire, and the fantasy breaks if I'm sad in it.

    No, seriously, a gay Facebook friend posted about being scared of what the conservatives were going to do, and a conservative Facebook friend (who's now ex ) consoled him, like he didn't pull the voting lever that caused all his fucking problems.
    I called him out on his gaslighting hypocrisy, and he put forward the "taxing billionaires makes them sad" argument as his defense.
    We were pretty much done after that.
