I really love those restoration videos, especially the ones with metal Tonka or Nylint toys. I've seen a few that restored the same toys I had as a little kid. Nearly 20 years ago I restored an original 1978 Kenner X-Wing I found in an antique store and gave it as a Christmas present to a friend who collects Star Wars toys. He loved it, though not as much as if I'd found one still in the box.
