The other day something interesting happened. To recap, in spite of being inept and continuing failed policies while endorsing a fatally flawed new tax and running on the platform of "at least I'm not as corrupt as the person I replaced", Oregon, overwhelmingly elected our appointed Democratic governor. And downtown has been in flames since Wednesday night. This weekend the plan has been to start sending off resumes to get out of this town. But things are changing. The other day at work, I overheard died-in-the-wool liberals chatting about what a smart guy Donald Trump is and how expertly he managed his campaign. Meanwhile another group were talking about how stupid the protesters are and calling for a civics quiz as a requirement to be allowed to vote. I don't think these guys were liberals. They were normal Americans like me, who've been forced to bite their tongues for decades because they live in a city of crybaby liberal dingbats and this election has finally showed them it is OK to stand up for what they believe in. So on one hand, I'm pretty sure Oregon is hopelessly fucked by decades of liberal policies and goofball inept waste and mismanagement, but on the other hand, it's a beautiful place to live and apart from Portland and Eugene, the people are fairly rational.
About what, Volpy? You've never been shy here. You've been pretty awful. The stuff you held inside must be some truly repugnant stuff.
Some of Obama's greatest accomplishments are going to be because people know he's on the way out and grown-ups will be in charge soon.
I need that displayed on my car! Wait, it's my only vehicle and I can't risk it getting torched by the disgruntled left. You know how sensitive they are!
