    Blake Edwards - 1922 - 2010

Edwards had a string of great flicks during his career, from Breakfast At Tiffany's, The Days Of Wine And Roses, to the slapstick Pink Panther series.

The guy had a knack making movies.

That said, he made a terrible movie in the 1980s I forget the name of with John Ritter. I had to rent it because Zap from "American Gladiators" was nekkid in it. Unfortunately it was Zap in full on competitive bodybuilder shape. :(

Actually, he had a couple of stinkers during the 80s - Switch, Skin Deep (as you mentioined) and A Fine Mess (although it had a few decent gags in it).

They're worthy of forgetting, bearing in mind that Edwards made so many really great flicks.
