https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile...t-goes-public-after-co-star-is-fired.amp.html I thought Crawford made the show, so I'm not Particularly optimistic about its survival. A pity, I like this show.
What the fuck is going on?! First TheExpanse, then I found out last night Lucifer got cancelled, now this? Gotham is ending, The Americans is ending, what’s next?oh and Lethal Weapon without Riggs, nope.
it's a really really good show (Wayans' too-broad comedy being the weakest element) but the article I read said the set was toxic (and blamed it all basically on Crawford although the subtext seems to me to be that Wayans was so highly prized that they pandered to him) There was some talk of re-casting the part. I won't say it can't be done because I never heard of Crawford before this show, but it's a VERY rare thing to see it done successfully. It's a damn shame really. Maybe the best play is to let Riggs stay dead and just find a different death-wish guy that they foist on Roger because of his experience with Riggs but even then... I think the show does prove, though, that you can recycle an idea and make a damn fine show out of it. The cliche that it's always cheap when Hollywood recycles a property ain't actually true.
