Just heard that the Rolling Stones may be going back on tour next year, culminating in a 2012 London Olympics performance! I hope this is true...I may now have even more reason to get to the Olympics! Anybody else excited at the thought of this?!?
They're supposed to be doing a 'Farewell' tour, although I doubt it'll actually be their last one. I've seen them a couple of times, and they're very good live, so would most definitely see them again.
No thanks - though I respect what they do (they are masters of their craft) I'm not into the whole commercial arena hoopla scene. I wish I had the discipline + motivation to adhere to Mick's fitness regimine.....he's in better shape than most people half his age!
