Sarah Palin is threatening to run against Lisa Murkowski in 2022 and I cannot stress how insane this video is.

I remember being baffled that Republicans thought that meathead was VP caliber.
Boy, those were the days, huh?
Anyway, it should have been a warning bell that the sled was going over the cliff.

What's worse, about 40% of Americans think that video is just swell and that Sarah Palin is right.

the only way that could have worked out would mean Tina Fey remaining in character for several years.

Turns out, all it would have taken to dodge Trump is NBC not airing "The Apprentice".

The tax returns show that fucking show saved him from financial ruin.
His 2012 and 2016 runs for president would have been sunk, and his horrible "empire", would have been auctioned off.

I still like Palin as a concept. Not so much the idea of her having any actual authority or position.

The only concept Palin represents is there's a level of crazy the GOP shouldn't have gone above, but they fucking did anyway.

We could call it "Jumping the Palin", only that's probably getting most of the PornHub hits from the South.

An attractive, relatively young female politician with good creds running for President/VP on a major ticket. Palin seemed to be that at first glance. Then we got to know her . . . :garamet:
Totally! All else aside, Palin is cute!

Not to go too far down this particular path, but politics and whatnot aside, Palin has the shape to her face, the sort of features, and the body type that I find particularly attractive. She usually wears her hair in a flattering style as well. Tina Fey, who did that caricature of Palin, does actually look like her and I think Fey is cute as all hell too.

Not really. Maybe when she was young, but she's too sharp-edged and frowny.

Because "cute" in female political candidates is as essential to the job as "cute" in news anchors. :garamet:

And the people who hire news anchors.

Or did you think the GOP strong-armed McCain into accepting Palin on the basis of her vast experience?

"Was," maybe. Now that she's shaving her eyebrows, not so much.
