All right, so let's say Biden wins, he gets two terms, covid-19 is cured, the economy comes back, and the damage of Trump is undone and rebuilt.

What are the grudges we should hold, and the things we don't want to see anymore by 2030?

    I'll start.

    No more My Pillow.
This company can't be allowed to exist after this.
Mike Lyndell has to be homeless, and his name has to be a bigger joke than Ms. Cleo.

If I'm seeing MyPillow ads in 2030, I'll have a fucking aneurism.

PBS played a documentary that polished Reagan's helmet.
    PBS!!
He was a racist, classist, homophobic piece of shit who hurt unions and schools, bungled AIDS on purpose, and DIDN'T "win the cold war", Gorby himself said the biggest factor to the collapse of the USSR was Chernobyl.
You wouldn't know any of that to hear that doc.

    I don't want Trump's helmet polished.
2030, 40, 50, 60, I don't wanna hear how Trump saved the nation from covid-19 with his fast decisive heroic action.
I want history to be real.
    No fucking propaganda.
    No bullshit.

He's a racist, rapey, stupid, tacky, gawdy, ugly, greedy, petty, coward, and he FAILED this country, and murdered hundreds of thousands of his fellow citizens with his incompetence and cronyism.
I don't want to hear anything else.

Bad enough they're still licking Reagan's pruny ass.

Okay, those first two are doable, but this one might be out in unicorn-town.

    Fox must be punished.
They spread covid-19 misinformation, they opened their big fat mouths with the "the cure is worse than the disease!", bullshit when it came to "re-opening the economy", blood is on their hands, they've killed people, they have to pay.

    But, they probably won't.

BUT, we never thought Bill O'Reilly and Roger Ailes would be brought down, so....maybe this can happen.

    Maybe.

Whether it does or doesn't, hold a fucking grudge, America.
Wake the fuck up, and hold a fucking grudge.

I predict that by 2030, it will hard to find any former Trump voters. Everyone will pretty much agree with how horrible he was.

    Dismantle DHS, abolish ICE.

I'm skeptical this will ever happen. It would require a Constitutional Amendment. There is no incentive for a number of smaller states to vote to give themselves less power.

Did you know that under the US constitution, you have no right to vote for POTUS as a citizen? Seems like a glaring anachronism to me.

    Not necessarily.

States can decide how to pick their EC Electors. If you get enough states that add up to 270 EC votes to agree to appoint their electors based on the popular vote winner then you have effectively gotten rid of the EC without formally doing so.

DHS was a theatrical response to 9/11 and yes, should be disestablished. Its defense functions belong in NORTHCOM and its law enforcement stuff should be all FBI. ICE, however, is a valid agency that just needs its rules of engagement tightened down and much better oversight added.

10 years is far too short to rebuild the damage done under Trump. So the more important list would be the ToDo on that.

But in terms of consequences, the main thing is prosecuting everyone involved in this criminal administration to the full extent the law allows.

In all seriousness, you need to be very careful about this. Some went full-tilt for Trump because they knew what the fuck he was and knew he could enable them, others just bought his shit out of ignorance. If you don't want the right to keep buying the "the libs are out to enslave/brainwash you" crap, you need to show you're willing to forgive their Stockholmism.

So GOP voters? Case by case.

The GOP though... fuck them. Down to the last.

And Paladin? Drawn and fucking quartered. The word hung isn't going anywhere NEAR a guy with a dick that small.

If the Democrats are going to spend another four years of investigations, that’s just going to cause Republican voters to just double down and cause more gridlock in congress.

Why is it the only thing Republicans seem to know how to do is double down on the vindictive, the calculatedly ignorant, and the vengeful? When was the last time they did something meaningful, something that didn't involve Mitch McConnell lining his pockets?

The concept behind DHS was valid. There are far too many federal alphabet agencies in the USA and most of them barely even talk to each other. In fact, I wouldn't even call it friendly rivalries... most law enforcement agencies are outright hostile to one another. Had there been better coordination, it's possible that 9/11 could have been stopped.

DHS needs to be more of an intelligence nexus versus an actual investigative and enforcement agency.
