Even 15 years ago, Tamar was able to dig up a whole lotta information just from what she had to go by here. Lucky for us that she mostly kept it in house or to laugh with her shitty friends rather than to go get people sacked or to drive people to suicide by letting her friends have a go at it with the information she had.

I mean, what UA described is exactly what the fuck is happening to people in tandem to the bullying. The goons of today don't stop at negrepping and ray signatures to take the fucking piss.

Yup, it's really easy to track people down from some limited information if you know what you're doing.

I remember one time many years ago when Poodle was boasting about how he never put his real information here to stay anonymous. Took about five minutes of Googling things he had posted about to have his real name and personal blog.

But we all have it to some extent .

Much as we all have nervous and hormonal systems.

Those are systems which I'm pretty sure most of us know that (barring in a few rare medical scenarios) are involved in the regulation of stress responses.

Perhaps @Uncle Albert is an exception who should be brought to the attention of the medical community, who knows?

Maybe his body floods with testosterone in response to chronic stressors, perhaps gamma rays are involved?

UA seems to be a result of the idea in psychology that people seek out those that are doing worse than them for their own boost in self esteem. Almost all of his posting is due to pretending he is doing better than everyone else. It is somewhat effective for shallow people. Fighting others is a great way to distract yourself from the problems in your own life. It is pretty much the republican mantra of always finding someone else to piss on because then you are not the worst off in the world. That ends up being a shallow way to boost up some people and get a laugh.

At times I admit to having some envy for people who can be so ignorantly blissful. I realized a long time ago the bliss of heaven has to be based on ignorance because the knowledge of pain would bring you down. On a philisophical level it gave meaning to the story about Adam and Eve. God di not kick them out of heaven, they simply were incompatible with the bliss of the garden after they gained knowledge which included pain and suffering. In order to get back we need to give up our knowledge and accept becoming ignorant again. It is why if I were a practitioner of that religion I would have followed the snake.

Some people can just put themselves into a place of happiness by looking at others and realizing things could get worse. Others realize whatever you don't like about life does not go away simply because you laugh at someone in the gutter.

When I was finally ready to off myself due to intense pain of neuropathy I was going around trying to tell people it was coming. My mom tried this method combined with a guilt trip. She told me about how she was suicidal at times and the one thing that kept her from going there was her children. I guess I probably should have explained to her that the reason I have no kids, or even pets, is because I never wanted attachments that kept me trapped into this world with responsibilities.

I always found the sentiment that you do not want someone to die because it will hurt you to be a great way to push others away. I find it makes resentment and makes you feel more alone. I want some understanding of why I am doing what I am doing from the people who care for me, but go the fuck away with that guilt shit. Asa for mom, especially when one of my reasons for pain is you have always hated the girl I am and have made it clear you have no desire to ever stand up for me being me.

I am just saying be careful not to trigger resentment because it is a good excuse for the suicidal to turn love into anger and stop giving a fuck about hurting you with their death. It seems to me that is normally what they are looking for at the end, because I think most know they are going to hurt the people who might still matter to them, and those are the ties you look to destroy on your way down the hole.

Oh, and your friend does not sound suicidal, just that they are telling you how they feel. Sometimes we cannot fix what is wrong. Sometimes trying to fix it leads to someone feeling they are more broken. Maybe the correct solution is to just accept things are sometimes painful and you cannot live your friend's life for them, and they cannot live their life for your feelings. Sometimes life just sucks.

If it is that bad for someone, do not let me stop you, because I am not letting anyone stop me when the time comes.

I agree to some extent, but age does come with experience and wisdom. As a kid i wanted a trans am for my first car. I saved up for it, it was my money, and it was my choice. I told my dad in the huge argument we had that I was not going to drive into a tree and wreck it. That was the last words I told him as I walked out the door, got into my mom's station wagon to ride to work, and then lost control around a curve because I was a bad ass driving by some kids really fast to impress them. I put my mom's car deep into a pine tree base. To this day they still joke about how her car had antlers of pine branches and piles of needles under it when she parked it.

My dad wasn't out of touch. He just knew what kids do. He won that argument and I heeded his warnings a bit more. Good thing too, because I beat the fuck out of that first car with my friends. My friend with the trans am was always worried about it and keeping it looking nice. I had far more money for cigarettes and tipping waitresses than he ever did. He always had to get someone to buy his beers because he was broke. I may not have had a great looking car, but I always made the cover and had whatever the fuck I wanted.

A quote that Oldfella himself stands by proudly, that anyone can look up versus information that @14thDoctor shared in private with Tamar, who then gave his name to another poster without consent who made quick work of trolling. :brood:

Didn't remember you being that tight with Tamar to be defending that shit. :jayzus: :(

So ..., pointing out hypocrisy means I'm defending Tamar?

Do what you want. Put whatever signature you want. But, don't pretend what you do is anything different than what someone accused of bullying is doing.

Ayup. I'm honestly surprised some of her lapdogs never took it that far.

I don't think I ever mentioned it, but the whole Raygate thing happened shortly after my employer at the time introduced their new "embarrass the company in any way and you'll be fired on the spot for cause" policy for managers and made us agree to it as a condition of continued employment. Tamar or any of her sycophants could have gotten me fired with one email back then. That's why I was freaking out so hard.

Man, I'm glad she's dead. :async:

That makes sense, seeing that the troll was subtle enough that I admit I thought you were making a big fuss over nothing at the time.

But then, that's what gaslighting assholes do best
