    Interesting if unlikely. I've been giving a lot of thought lately to traditions, why they exist, and whether they are still relevant today.

    Not a bad rule of thumb. In the interest of transparency, most of my thoughts have been centered on the church. It's a conversation I'm sure you're not interested in, but I'm pondering what's actually biblical and what's meaningless tradition*.
