SF Bay Area WFers, are you ready for this storm? At least up here in the North Bay we are expecting snow as low as 500 ft! I hope to wake up and find snow on the hills in the morning! If not today, then tomorrow. Hooray for snow! For people who don't know, this is extremely rare. We don't really ever get snow here. Sometimes the higher mountains get a few inches once or twice in a year, but 500 ft above sea level? That hasn't happened since like the 70's, so this is a big deal here!
The kids will love this! Houston and some Louisiana cities (and other Southern coastal cities) got hammered with snow a few days ago. Same with SF, snow in areas that rarely ever get snow. Considering it's not winter yet, it could be a weird weather year!
Doesn't Seattle get snow sometimes? I know Seattle's a bit of a ways, & 2 states, north, of you ch. Interesting though.
