Now that Anna's an owner, do we need a Shelter mod? I say yes so there's another set of eyes in here to see that not much actually happens in this room.

Agree? And if so, any suggestions?

It's evidently the fastest path to an ownership stake.

Rob Matter politely declined my offer to have him mod this room.

Packard? We could sell it as an attempted banning that irreversibly made him Shelter mod.

That's a dangerous move. Shelter mods end up becoming owners -- how would we ban him, then?

We can't ban him. He's above the software. Beyond it. Might as well succumb to the will of the code. I nominate Packard as well. :bergman:

He doesn't post very often though

Maybe we can pass it off to Tamar and bring back the lulz on the board? :tasvir: :corn:

Naw, seriously...we can keep the post unfilled until and unless the need arises. Honestly, I was bored as shelter mod and most of the vocal folks like Zombie (who would've been my first choice as a replacement) are long gone.

True fact. When we created the post Zombie was who I went to first. Figured having someone slightly antagonistic would help people know it was honest. Guy apparently took shit too seriously and refused to even respond to PMs. After a couple weeks a couple three ignored PMs I finally had it and said something along the lines of "If you don't want the job, stop being a fucking bitch and just say so and we'll offer it to someone else. Otherwise I don't know if you aren't getting these or are just ignoring them." He wrote back "Don't want it."

Long story short, @shootER was the fall back chick. :diacanu:

Hmmmm. If he were still arpund, I'd have reached out to him again. I'm fairly certain he felt into the Anc Will Ruin the Board camp when Lanzman sold the place. He has been this way for every board owner going back to Cassandra but unlike Volpone, he actually offers solutions instead of whining about the place sucking without saying why.

As I said earlier, we can keep it in a back pocket, but given the small number of us left and the most vocal folks gone, I don't think there's a pressing need.

If anything, we should consider a mod for the Green Room since Foil2012 (I think that's his name) hasn't been seen in months. I can move this to the recycling bin once it's done.

I'd say Packard for shelter mod.

    Frontline for Green Room.

    I agree about Packard.

Frontline doesn't post here any more, but I'll ask him on Facebook.

Mind if I make a suggestion (proceeds to make a suggestion anyway)? I think Packard's a great choice for Green Room. If you can't get Frontline, I can always ask Larry. Green Room doesn't get too busy, but right now Larry just watches over the HD like everyone else, and the Starscape Lounge, which is usually pretty quiet.

Edit: Sorry, I meant Packard for Shelter Mod, Larry for Green Room.

Frontline says he plans to come back to the board, but he doesn't have to mod the Green Room.

I floated Shelter Mod to him, but he didn't respond.
