It's not quite short enough to be "flash fiction", as far as I know, but it's still well short of the 7.500 word mark generally accepted as the upper limit for a short story. I need to know what you all would advise I price it at for Amazon Kindle. $0.99? $1.99? It's a horror/comedy fusion.
.99 at the most. Probably better to put together a short story compilation and do it as a package at a higher price.
I was considering that. Actually, my thinking was that it would be, bare minimum, 5,000 words in length. I'll release it on its own at $0.99, follow up with 10 more of the same, then compile them into an anthology.
Ehhh, be careful. Think of iTunes - if you've bought all the songs on an album individually as they were released, would you then spend money on the album itself?
If it came with "extra" features, I sure would -- and have. And that's why the compilation will have an extra story or three that weren't released previously.
