Should burning the Koran be illegal?

So should it be illegal even if it's your property and you're not breaking any other laws by burning it?

Something interesting and heart-warming - one of my soldiers on my team when I was in Iraq in year 2003 was muslim. Anyway one of the most redneck looking "murica......yeah!" guys ordered him a deluxe version of the Koran as a birthday gift because he knew he was a muslim, and that my soldier saw many burned & discarded copies of the Koran left behind by the hastily departing Iraqi troops when we ran them out of the place, but never said anything publicly. My soldier was overjoyed, and really appreciated it. That is humbling to say the least.
