*sigh* A new form of trolling to watch for...

The tags in the threads. Particularly in the moderated forums.

There was a thread in the Help Desk where the tags added to it were "Uncle Albert" "Douchebag" and crap, I forgot the last one.

It didn't say who added it, but I edited them out. I don't know if there is a way to know who is responsible or not...Tech guys?

Meanwhile, if you see them please get rid of them.

I *suspect* that if left alone, it'll burn itself out... but perhaps editing the tags is the better thing to do. Likewise with the calendar trolling - no one's noticed it except me, as far as I know; despite Face's efforts to publicize it, everyone's been roundly ignoring it.

Offhand, I don't think there's a way to find out who left which tags. I can check the DB structure more thoroughly tomorrow, but I'm extremely busy IRL right now.

Actually I started a thread about it. I get the feeling using the Calendar as a means of trolling just isn't as fun.

I've been watching the calendar, myself. Haven't seen anything too terrible on it yet, and in any case what I've seen so far has been kinda funny.

I think just quietly editing out the tags when we see them without a word about it is the way to go.

Wordforge is tough for the serious trolls...we are generally too easygoing and permissive for most of the usual tactics.

The tags currenly listed are: bukake cum guzzler, dean stockwell, quantum leap beckett, scott bakula archer, star trek enterprise

I just removed the offending "bukkake cum guzzler" tag from that one.

I planned on doing the same after Chu gave it a look.
