Am I the only one who thinks the current Wordforge banner looks like the board itself died? Can I offer the suggestion that the the "Wordforge" title be removed altogether and be replaced with Techman?
I thought it was some kind of joke. But I do think it was actually pretty good, and kudos to whoever put it up. I noticed it, which is something that I can't say for the banner most of the time. It needs to say Wordforge, which it does, it needs to place some recognition of an event that affects us all, which it does. I don't know whether putting Techman's name on it would make it too crowded. I also wonder whether it might be a bit too crass to do so. Anyway, I like it, but a change such as El Chup suggests is fine, too, so long as the Wordforge brand is still there, and it doesn't become too cluttered for people to bother looking at.
When I logged on this morning, my first thought was "Who are they kidding? WF hasn't been around since 1954 "
^ Does the WF brand need to be there since it's only up for a week? It's not as if the masses lining up to join us are going to be turned away by the loss of the name for a few days. I just thought that keeping the name up there was less important than hnouring Tech. Maybe it's just me.
Another suggestion: Is there a way to temporarily replace the random quotes on the main forum page with random Techman quotes?
