This post of Sokars seals it for me: He definite knows what he is doing and it is on purpose. My vote is to remove his Blue Room access entirely, give him a 48 hour ban to cool his heels, and let him know attempting to rejoin the Blue Room will result in a longer ban.

It's all very relevant to stuff ActorMike has going on right now, that I haven't seen him post about anywhere else about and that he has been talking about in the Blue Room the past few days.
There's enough info here for at least two full warnings. I can pull the trigger on those, but obviously, if we're talking a non-warning-initiated ban, that's up to Lanzman and Tamar.
I did consider just warning every post that has been reported since he clearly knows what he is doing, but decided to wait for Lanz.

Personally, I feel forever bans are only for board destroyers and really fucked up/illegal activity. Soon, the rep issue won't be as much of one. I would say he could come back BUT.... His Blue Room ban is permanent. He can never have access to it again. He can not be trusted with the privilege. That is the only way to be sure he won't do that again. However...if he ever does post Blue Room information again...say, someone else gives it to him privately to post for deniability, he gets a 6 month ban next time.
Sounds good. O2C, is there a way to permanently disable his Blue Room access? I know I can turn it off from the admin panel, but he can just re-subscribe IIRC.
Meh. My, wholly personal, opinion is that he adds nothing to the board. We're better off without him.
Don't know offhand. There are user groups that can be configured not to have access to particular rooms, but I don't know for certain if I can make it override the subscription groups. I'll try it out.
I could list a few people like that and so could everyone else, all different. We wouldn't have a board left if they were all banned forever. If he doesn't straighten out, he'll be bound to fuck up and get himself banned again anyway.
It would be awesome if you can. If not, we'll have to periodically check ourselves and another caveat to his return will be telling him he is not allowed to rejoin the Blue Room and if he tries it, he will be automatically banned again, permanently since we can't trust him.
Yeah, that's what I'm thinking. If there's a technical fix to keep him out of the Blue Room then we use it. If not, we'll just have to police it and do like Tamar said. All right, I'm going to explain it to him and unban him.
Oh, you can permanently remove Blue Room access thru the Admin Panel. Or at least it sure looks that way. Good to know.
