I used to run that program back in 2008 and 2009 but haven't bothered to put it on any of my new machines. It basically uses free cycles on computers to crunch the numbers, get a few million PCs doing it and you've done the work of several super computers in a very short period of time.
But did they have the information to help put a stop to AIDS two years ago? THAT was what was newsworthy. Guess on this board it's not.
Something similar for Alzheimer's. Cassandra posted this back when WF began. It's been on all of my computers since.
