The AppleTV has only been shipping for a few days, yet it seems to be extremely hackable. See: http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?threadid=2391956&perpage=40&pagenumber=1 Looks very interesting. I wasn't interested initially, but now, if I had a TV with component-in, I'd get one.
Yea, I was reading about the shared drive capability to where it would be insanely easy to stream content from any desktop or laptop...
Because then users can easily use it for streaming other content to their TVs, rather than just using it thru apples programs.
Hacking in the good sense of the word, not the bad. Hack like McGuyver or Steve Wozniak, not like electronic theives.
