Sarah Sanders’ successful efforts to newly block access to certain governmental records. Sanders recently pushed the state legislature to write a new exemption into the Arkansas FOIA in an attempt to prevent Matt Campbell, the Little Rock lawyer behind the Blue Hog Report blog, from accessing those records. Campbell’s FOIA requests uncovered the lectern purchase to begin with. In the letter, Mars said his client can prove that someone in Sanders’ office altered documents that Campbell had requested through the Arkansas FOIA and that Sanders’ office pressured another government agency to withhold from the public documents that should have been made available. ------- The lectern invoice from Beckett Events LLC blew up into a scandal on social media after Campbell uncovered a series of emails showing much internal confusion among state government employees tasked with processing the purchase. A government credit card limit had to be raised in order to cover the exorbitant price tag. While the invoice was paid in June, the lectern didn’t arrive for months. Fanning the flames was news that Beckett and her business partner, Hannah Stone, helped organize the Jan. 6 rally at the Ellipse in Washington, D.C., which was basically the pep rally for a rebellious rightwing horde to mob the U.S. Capitol. Beckett’s and Stone’s presence in Paris in June, at the same time Sanders was there, ostensibly on state business, sparked speculation that the $19,000 paid not for a lectern, but for a European trip. (With the governor’s travel records now retroactively off the table for journalists and the public to review, it’s hard to know.) Earlier this week, Sanders’ office allowed the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette to take pictures of the mysterious lectern, which turned out to be pretty basic. You can get the same thing online for a few thousand dollars, so the huge price tag Beckett Events LLC charged the state of Arkansas remains a mystery.

Oddly it was similar with the hill people of NY. Up until I actually saw the movie I always assumed The Hills Have Eyes was about midstate NY. Really, it could have been the same movie only with maple, elm, oak and fir trees. It really was not hard to understand the hicks of AL and the carolinas after spending some time in upstate NY. Just some advice. You need a Lyme's test. For some reason doctors who are not in the northern areas do not like to give one, and you may have to punch them in the head for one, but it is a simple blood test and Lymes is spread by certain ticks you might not even know you had on you. I am not really sure why doctors are not familiar with Lymes, but it is very common, results in a fever, and can spread into fun neurological troubles, and lots of other serious issues especially if untreated. Look around for a red blotch on your skin where a tick may have bitten you. It is common, but not necessarily there. The earlier you catch this one the better the treatment works, but from what I know it is not something you ever fully get rid of so you have to watch it over time. The tests should be a simple blood test and not very expensive. I do not understand why doctor's normally have to be forced to do this test in the south.

beware of that fever. It is somewhere in there the nerve problems start. make sure to take the lymes treatment. Here is hoping for a low level infection. Most of the people I have known who have got it were fine, but I have seen a few horror stories with it.
I am cool with it, but why didn't you do those things? I do not think I ever caught lymes, but I do remember catching tick on my nutsack and that was good enough for me to go for it. You know something I learned during that incident? It is really easy to rip the heads off those fuckers, and you do not want to leave the head in there, so having only a cigarette at the time, and not liking my nutsack very much, along with hanging out with people who make jackass look tame, it hurts when you burn a tick head out of your scrotum with a camel light.
