Reading the adverts in the newsagent's window this morning, I was intrigued to note someone advertising two male buggies for sale. OK, it's a long time since daughter was a baby, but I wasn't aware that buggies had begun to be sold on a gender basis. So I read on. One blue, one green, cage and food included.... Oh! BUDGIES!!! Any other illiterate ads noted?
Oh, that ain't nothin'. I was driving down the interstate two weeks ago and I passed a billboard in front of a major venue. In gigantic red twelve feet tall letters it said, "Vender spaces available call 1-800..." I almost shit a brick. I thought, "Welcome to Alabama, we can't spell! "
Another one from our paper... And the bus route to a local school... No wonder there's little hope for edumacation.
Those are real cute, woulndt you be better getting buggies from a Petsmart other than a newspaper? Des
"thru" is only valid when it's part of a compound word referring to a restaurant. The others listed above are subject to similar terms.
