Staff changes

I've talked with all of you privately at one point or another about the upcoming changes. Well...here they are.

Effective some time on Saturday, I will be accepting resignations from Alphaman, evenflow, and Mrs. Albert. Lanzman and thelurker will continue on as Super Moderators. Joining them will be Bailey, Clyde, and Paladin. I think this offers the most consistent coverage through all time zones across the globe.

After the announcement, I ask all of you to join me in thanking Alphaman, evenflow, and Mrs. Albert for all of their hard work during their time on the staff.

Also, we will be removing the Observer's access to this forum pending an overhaul of the system. Thank you for your work, gentlemen.

Now, moving on to other business. The Administrator's job. My second in command.

















Tamar will be returning to her duties on or about the July 21st Anniversary. This is not public knowledge. I ask that you keep this close to your vests until I announce her return during the Anniversary celebration.

However, she has no desire to own the board or be the Heir Apparent. In fact, to get her to return, I agreed to no longer talk or think about selling the board until such time as we both agree that it's time for me to move on.

Also, in the unlikely event of my incapacitation or demise, Tamar and Nick are to take full control of the board and they have my blessing to operate it as they see fit provided I have not specifically named another person or group of persons to take their place.

I repost this for emphasis and to make sure no one lets him forget it.

I know I won't.

So say we all!

It occurred to me yesterday, you do realise that with these changes vegetarians are massively over-represented among the staff?

Your work load just went way up, as has the bullshit factor. Since this is going to be a new Staff set up, we all will be learning as we go here...this could end up being the best or the worst thing we've ever done.

But, don't hesitate to ask questions any time you need to. There is almost nothing about the panels Nick and O2C doesn't know and Elwood and I have both been where you are now.

The upside...major upside, IMO, is any of you who see a problem can just deal with it and not wait for someone else or worry about stepping on toes. And with the five of you, Elwood and I should be left to quietly sip cold drinks on the beach. Eliteforge, indeed!! :slice:
