I don't know anything about this game. But I saw a thread about it at the TBBS gaming forum.

The box cover looks pretty sweet though. The symbols on the side are Federation, Romulan, Klingon on one side and Dominion, Breen, and Cardassian on the other side.

Sounds like a Dominion War game to me.

    Here is the thread.

Although most Trek games kinda suck, Bethesda does good work. And the Wii controls might be interesting.

Man, that's really, really weird. There was a shitty online Star Trek game in about 2000 called "Star Trek conQuest Online," that somehow linked Q, the Borg, the Federation, blah, blah, blah, altogether.

I'm surprised that Activision doesn't retain some rights to the name or something.

BOTF is a very good exception. Too bad there's no official sequel...

    and Elite Force.

I know, it was a bit out there, but the Mirror Universe level made up for it. :D

Well, a lot of older Trek games are pretty good. Elite Force, Bridge Commander, BoTF, Armada, Starfleet Battles (aka Starfleet Command 1, 2 & 3). Some of the old TOS, TNG adventure games were pretty fun too. The DS9 3rd person shooter The Fallen, is also an exception.

But, as of late, the ST games have really taken a turn for the worse. I had hopes for Activision, but they dropped the ball unfortunately. :(

Because, it wouldn't be fun with the Oblivion engine. What kind of party would you take, it's made mostly for single player? How would you factor it in?

    No Oblivion engine, thanks.
