I'm really sad to hear this. I don't think Carano is someone I would enjoy hanging out with in real life but I'm not sure if anything she did was really malicious... unless I'm not aware of some other incidents. She seems to be an insensitive idiot. Nothing more. She made insensitive comments about things she had little to no knowledge on. I'd like to think that a person like that is redeemable to some extent... and maybe they aren't... but I didn't want to see her fired. I did like her character.

She's an anti-masker who believes the 2020 election was a fraud and compared the current investigation into the insurrection to Nazis beating Jews in the street. There is no doubt in my mind that celebrities who publicly espouse those views contributed to the January 6 domestic terrorist attack.

I've got one question, the two stormtroopers that killed Quill and nabbed baby Yoda. How did they manage to kill Quill while they were on speeder bikes, shooting at a moving target. But couldn't hit the piece of scrap they were trying to hit just a little while later?

They most likely killed Quill while trying to fire a warning shot over his head.

This podcast has an interview with a couple of the sound folks who work on the series. They talk about where they came up with some of the effects used in the series and that they're working on using in-helmet audio recordings for all the characters who wear helmets on the series. In the first season, most of it was ADR, but in the second season, a lot of it was done in-helmet.
