This has got to be one of the worst television shows in history. Good lord. I downloaded a few episodes after someone mentioned this short-lived cartoon series in another thread. Just how bad is it? Well, here's the lyrics to the theme song, which is "sung" presumably by some drunken wino the producers snatched from the street: Built by Ancients so long ago, The Stargate lay 'til we broke the code, Now it takes us through the universe On our mission to get back to Earth. We are hunted and on the run, And together we overcome, Fighting evil through the galaxy: Stagate Infinity! No matter how big of a Stargate fan you are... if you ever come across this show, DO NOT WATCH IT. I feel tainted having just watched one episode. Just to be sure, I removed the hardrive that contained the remaining epiosdes from my computer and destroyed it. You have been warned.
This OTOH is pretty cool. Anyway, I'll now have to watch SG:Infinity at some point just so I can come back here and admit that WAB was right all along.
I was just thinking- it that was on back in the same era as Star Blazers and Speed Racer it would probably be a frakin' classic. Of course, toon adaptations of live series are notoriously bad. Highlander, the animated series, anyone?
