Starscape integration

What is your overall plan, I see most Wordforge members have become Starscape members. One has contacted me requesting that he not have the banner. I suspect some others will likewise prefer to not have the banner. Rather than approach this piecemeal, we should probably consider either a new user group for Wordforgers with access, compared to the old starcapers who may still wish to hold that identity, or we should simply make Starscape access a default for the registered users group. Then I'd recommend changing the banner for those who still have it to say "Starscape Original" (Sons of Anarchy ref).

I was actually going to ask about this. I had several members asking for a banner and I figured I'd test one out just to see how it would affect users in general. Still, here's what I can do:

I can have two Starscape user groups: Starscape Original (as you suggest) who were active members as of the migration, and Starscape Lounge, who are former members seeking access.
Starscape Original will have banners, as those are the members asking to keep theirs. Starscape Lounge will have no banner, but one will have access to the lounge.

As for integration, I don't know. Anc's idea is to wait a while before really opening up to let others post, and I understand his reasoning. At the same time, it seems like 'Forgers want to join in on some of the stuff we're doing there. Ideas would be most welcome.

It's of course up to you but I think letting people 'apply manually' is a good idea for now. If someone PMs you, let them in, but don't make it a free for all ya know?
