Games will be on sale up to 75% off with even relatively new games being 50% off but the kicker is each sale only lasts for 8 hours and you have to keep checking in to see when a game you want goes on sale. Right now I'm thinking about picking up Endless Space (a 4X space game where you fight space battles and build an empire) for just ~$12 with all the DLC included. I know you Star Trek nerds love space battle games.
Playstation Network is having a pretty good sale too. I just got LEGO Batman 2 DC Superheroes for $5, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II for $7.50, and the entire Prince of Persia HD Trilogy for $8. Playstation Plus is getting into Steam territory!!

I picked up GTA IV when it was on a flash sale. Elwood might like the Liberty City, First Responder modification for it where you're a cop and go on calls. Also picked up Just Cause 2 and it's DLC as the whole thing was like 4 bucks. Then I purchased Anno 2070 for a buddy's birthday present. Kind of regret not picking up Tropico 4 when it went on a daily sale, but I'll be able to purchase it again during the last day encore. Probably not if I hop off the fence with Civ V.
I almost bought Just Cause 2, but I have enough games to play, and I don't know if I want another fuck-around simulator. Just can't pull the trigger on a ton of them. Thinking of getting the last 3 Bit.Trip games I don't own yet for 5 bucks apiece and I almost went in for 5 dollar Roller Coaster Tycoon 3. I do love all the cards they've added though. So many games that I already owned have been getting the Steam trading cards treatment and it's been cool.

I got Just Cause 2 for free on Playstation Plus last year. I also got Saints Row III, Sleeping Dogs, Warhammer 40,000, Uncharted 3 and a dozen more on Playstation Plus just for being a member. I'm starting to think PS+ is an even better value.
I bought both expansions and all the DLC for Civ5, the latest expansion and DLC for Hearts of Iron 3, Torchlight as they were practically giving it away, The expansions for Victoria 2, and Crusader Kings 2 with all the expansions and DLC.
I bought Civ 5 last time steam had a sale on it. And it take the damn game 5 - 10 minutes load every time. The fucking online cloud save shit has turned me off to the game. I've played it maybe 3 times since I bought it because of that.
I ended up buying: Bit Trip: Core, Void, and Fate Roller Coaster Tycoon 3: Platinum Deus Ex: Human Revolution plus all DLC I was also gifted terraria which is pretty cool. Speaking of gifting, does anyone want a code for Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery or Indie Game: The Movie? I have an extra of each and have no idea who to give them to.
