Oh, boy. How stupid does a bitch have to be to get pregnant FOUR MOTHERFUCKING TIMES in four years--almost every goddamn year since she turned sixteen? What sort of quality of life does she expect to give seven kids living off of welfare?

Now there's a story to warm your heart when you've wanted to have a baby and never could. All on welfare, too. It's the Brady Bunch. And she could have more. Some women pop out more than one egg a month as a matter of course; sounds like she's one of them. What ever happened to the five year limit on welfare, or am I imagining that? Seems like she may go over the limit. Grandma may get tired of babysitting for seven.

With a brood that big, they'll end up in foster care. Then it's the luck of the draw for each child.

That is still in play, IIRC, although she could ask for an extention.

Considering the oldest of the [-]litter[/-] children is four, she better get to stepping on that one.

More importantly, let's make sure the kids are well fed, clothed, given a place to sleep and safe shelter, because regardless of the parents (who need to learn responsibility), they are innocent in this.

Thing is, welfare only goes so far. Believe me when I say I know what I'm taking about here.

And in most cases in America, the cut-off is five years,regardless of how many babies a woman has. I'd be all for programs that help these welfare parents get skills that can help build their lives up for themselves and their children. It's like the old saying about giving a man fish verses teaching him to fish on his own goes. I dunno about you, but I sure as hell wouldn't want mi income depending on the goverment. It's less secure than the stock market.

What always gets me about these stories is the parents' complete lack of shame. They aren't bothered that other people, working people, have to pick up the tab not only for their kids but for them as well.

I saw this women in a story on the local news. She looked really rather tired and miserable. Although with 800 kids, one can imagine why.

I hope sister gets her tubes tied even if she's on welfare, she can call it an investment in her future. Have a bake sale or something. I've heard that many doctors won't do it if you're a lady under 30ish, but with 7 kids, I think she's done. No mas.

Heard a case of a woman on pregnancy number 12 and getting free ride in terms of hospital payments. This story was one my mother told well it was preggy 13 the 12th one wasnt successfull. Why is the CC for stuff like this is beyond me.

I'm sorry, but those kids are NOT MY FUCKING PROBLEM! If the parents cannot take care of them, send them to foster care/adoption. But not one fucking cent to those freeloading assholes

Of course they're your problem. They're everyone's problem. They'll roam the streets in 'our' cities, won't they? If they grow up to be uneducated criminals, they'll rob our banks and mug our mommas, won't they? I don't care how it's done, but the kids need to be taken care of - by society as a whole.

Agreed. It's in the best interests of society to, I dunno, NOT breed future criminals.

Yeah, they are responsible for their own actions, but we shouldn't push them wholeheartedly in that direction, I think.

Not necessary...

There are people on it who actually do make plans to get off. There was a caseworker at TBBS who said he only fought one time to extend someone's welfare after the five-year mark because she was thisclose to finishing her degree. In this case, she *is* using it as a leg-up to help her achieve her goals, and not planing on making it a career.

Not only do they receive welfare and food stamps, but with kids 6 & 7 popping out soon, they'll get $7000 next April 15th from those who have to work for a living, only to have their earnings for that work reduced for these two.

And they just turned old enough to legally buy liquor!

Can we also schedule the stupid studs who got into her bed and impregnated her as well?
