Anyone watching this show on HBO? It stars Brian Cox as a Rupert Murdoch-type media magnate with four power-hungry adult kids. It's really, really good. Highly recommended in today's current cultural landscape. There's 2 completed seasons, and I think they're working on Season 3 now. (Sorry for the shitty synopsis or whatever. Little doped up at the moment.) It's not like Sopranos-level good, but way better than, say, Boardwalk Empire. Brian Cox is amazing in everything, though.
I just started watching this last week and I absolutely love it. I've got one episode to go in series 2 and then thats me caught up. Thought it was a little slow to begin with but it is very addictive. Really, there isn't anyone who could be considered a 'good guy' - maybe at a stretch cousin Gregg but the rest are proper rich, entitled scumbags who play business and politics. I have no idea how super high corporations work but I struggle to see how they can just expect Roman, Shiv or her husband Tom to go from nothing to being top level executives. At least Kendal appears to have done some ground work and training. The rest are just at it.
