As it says on the tin really, i have no clue but expect its not going to be as easy as stick them into the pc, save and then somehow get it over?

Basically the kid has a couple of favourites so i could be doing with getting on the tablet for use on a flight and holiday.

Its an Android, samsung galaxy whatever was at the forefront of galaxy technology 15 months ago.

DVDFab from China (illegal in the US).

From what I've read, this software will decode and rip DVDs to a PC with just the trialware version. It's playable from the PC in this format with many DVD player software packages. From your android you'll want to put it in a smaller, more portable format.

Handbreak is freeware that will render the ripped DVD files from DVDFab to a tablet friendly format such as MP4. A 9GB dvd can be reduced to a single MP4 less than 2GB (or smaller with some compression artifacts).

DVDFab's full version may do the rendering as well.

You can try the flixster D2D program for your computer which may allow you to buy a digital copy.

DVDfab paid version does blurays. You'll need a bluray drive on your PC (or mac, hahahahahha ahem.) you can try it free for 30 days then it reverts to just a DVD ripper (or so I've been told). In an alternate universe I have tried this with good results. Not on an ipad though. nosiree.
