I had no idea what intelligent discussions I was missing out on by not tuning to my AM stations!

Have you ever listened to right wing talk radio? There are one or two intelligent guys out ther like Rush, but too many more of them are idiots doinmg impersonations. Glen Beck comes to mind.

Well, compared to 'left-wing' talk radio.

Chris Baker and his crew were sent packing from here earlier this year after some unsavory comments he made. This latest ruckus comes as no real surprie to me, his sensationalistic inane bullshit crossed the line of common decency more than once.

Within a matter of hours of his comments here, any refrence to him was wiped clean from the local station's website as he was shown the door.

Well, lets parse this out....on the right you have local nimrods no one outside the local market ever heard of who want to be Don Imus or something saying dumb ass shit...

and on the left you have Randi Rhodes, Bill Mahr, Rosie O'Donnel, Michael Moore, Whoopie Goldberg, Al Franken, Keith Olberman, et al who can't make it through brushing their teeth without stopping to say something stupid.

Sure, they don't all have radio shows...because no one takes them seriously enough to listen. but there's no shortage of stupidity.

Get back to me on these two bozos when they ever have a national program.

If one of these guys gets cancer, maybe I'll call in the show and say they are just fakin' it...

What happens on AM radio (say, your average Air America left wing loony) is still light years ahead of what is on FM.

You need to listen to Ron Smith at WBAL. He's the best one on the air.

Bruce Elliot on WBAL is also very good.

Rhodes has one. Listening to her is like listening to cats scraping a chalkboard. She's a total basket case with all of her slobbering hate.

I doubt he "faked AIDS." But if you wanted to, I doubt it would be too hard. What are people going to do if you say you have AIDS? Submit to a blood test or you're lying? Of course, I don't see why anyone would want to do that.

One dork with a morning show in Minnesota making a stupid remark somehow reflects on conservative talk radio in general? That's a stretch.

How about, because Jeremiah Wright said the government created AIDS to kill black people, I take it a step further and say all blacks ultimately believe the same thing?

I listen to Ed Shultz and Bill Press on AA, and I have to say it's not the hosts that are crazy. IT'S THE FREAKIN CALLERS AND ADVERTISERS!!! Some of those people are really cookoo!




I find that the hosts on Right Wing Radio are crazier, but the ads and callers are generally less rabid.

Everyone knows Magic didn't fake it, he just found the super secret cure.

This is proof that Magic is racist. If he weren't, he would've given away all his money to help the poor and underprivileged that couldn't keep their pants zipped.

Whether it's a punishment from God in the sense that a lightning bolt straight from his fingertips is is debatable to me. In the sense that the vast majority of those with AIDS participated in some form of risky behavior, I stand by my statement.

Magic? I'm guessing he was in the crowd that took advantage of fame and money to chase as many women as possible. Some drugs thrown in? Hey, I'm invincible. Have at it.

Now AIDS is mostly at Heterosexual disease, with a large portion of those being monogamous partners with cheating spouses. Mostly woman who's men are sleeping with prostitutes and other men (both high risk groups).
