    There is one stand of trees on 37 between CRP and SAT at about mile marker 63- I noticed it for the first time when I was driving between Corpus and Pensacola for something right after I got winged in '92. Every time I drive 37 now I look out for that tree stand- it's kind of nice, right in a bulgy sort of island in the freeway. The trees are big and old, and there isn't much else around. Sort of reminds me of an oasis.

    What I love about Oklahoma springs in college was the blossoming of the halter tops.

    So I was dissappointed in Ash's picture of weeds. :jayzus:
